Mark G. Carmichael, MD

Dr. Mark Carmichael is a seasoned hematologist and medical oncologist with over 25 years of experience. He has practiced at Desert Hematology Oncology since 2017 and is affiliated with Eisenhower Medical Center.

Dr. Carmichael has notable military experience. Prior to arriving in the Desert, he served as a hematologist and medical oncologist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, and Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii.

Notable military medical leadership positions include service as a battalion flight surgeon at Camp Stanley, Korea, chief of medical residents at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Texas, and brigade surgeon at Bagram Air Force Base in Afghanistan.
